Serge Tiroche on Accessible Art Fair committee; curates Africa Pavilion

Updated: Feb 6, 2020

We are pleased to have the Founder of the Africa First Collection, Serge Tiroche, on the selection committee of the Accessible Art Fair Brussels (ACAF) 2020 for the second time, alongside a distinguished group of art world experts.

ACAF's mission is to bring undiscovered artists to the public's attention and allow artists to represent themselves, selling directly to discerning collectors in Belgium and beyond. The fair creates an intimate platform connecting artists and collectors and providing for a unique experience to discover art and meet the creators.

ACAF's mission is to offer self-represented artists a platform to obtain direct feedback on their works, learn about the art market and meet a variety of collectors, curators and artists. Collectors benefit from the ability to purchase directly at source, quality works of art and design pre-selected by an expert committee, and to meet the creators behind the works.

For the 2020 edition, the committee and fair management envisaged highlighting a group of emerging artists from Africa. They entrusted Serge Tiroche to curate the 'by invitation' Pavilion, which will occupy a large portion of the fair. Invited artists will see all expenses covered and enjoy 100% of the sale proceeds.

We hope you will join us in Brussels from October 15-18, 2020.
